Q1 Who can attend the conferences, courses and attachment programmes?

Registered nurses. For individual conferences, courses and attachment programmes, please refer to the requirements stipulated.

 

Q2 What is the registration fee for conferences, courses and attachment programmes?

The fee varies. Please contact the Secretariat for the fee.

 

Q3 When are the conferences, courses and attachment programmes conducted?
A3

Please refer to individual conferences, courses and attachment programmes or contact Alice Lee IAN for the schedule.

 

Q4 How do I register for the conference/course/attachment programme?
A5

For Courses/Conferences

  1. Print the Training Registration Form and mail it with payment to the Secretariat.
  2. Applications with payment should reach the Secretariat before the closing date for application.

For Training Attachment Programmes

  1. Print the Training Registration Form and mail it with payment and relevant documents to the Secretariat.
  2. The participant is advised to apply at least 3 to 6 months prior to the intended commencement date of training.

 

Q5 How do I pay?

You can make payment in Singapore dollars in the form of a cheque or bank draft made payable to “Singapore General Hospital” to be drawn at a bank in Singapore.

 

Q6 Is accommodation provided for overseas delegates?
A6

The Secretariat can assist to make recommendations on nearby hotels/hostels within SGH.

 

Q7 Will I get a certificate after attending the conference, course or attachment programme?
A7

Yes, a certificate will be presented to you if you fulfil the required criteria.

For Certificate of Attendance, you must:

Attend a course/conference with a minimum duration of 2 days OR an attachment programme that is 5 days or longer.
Attain a minimum attendance of 75%.
For Certificate of Achievement, you must:

Attend a course/conference with a minimum duration of 2 days OR an attachment programme that is 5 days or longer.
Attain a minimum attendance of 75%.
Successfully complete all the required assessment.
