Dr Devendra Kanagalingam is Senior Consultant at the Singapore General Hospital and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He was educated at the Penang Free School in Malaysia before pursuing pre-university studies in Singapore as an ASEAN scholar.  He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore and subsequently obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). Dr Devendra spent two years training in the United Kingdom, including a year at St George’s Hospital Medical School in London where he was Honorary Senior Lecturer and Senior Registrar.  He is presently lead clinician for the delivery suite at the Singapore General Hospital and has a special interest in the intrapartum care of women with high-risk pregnancies.
