Client Services staff of the Department of Pathology are well trained to handle enquiries regarding types of tests available, service hours, types of supplies available, stat/emergency tests, sample collection, handling and transportation, unacceptable samples, test results, payment and many others. Enquiries on status of laboratory tests as well as more specialised information will be directed to the relevant laboratories.
Requests for interpretation of test results, and consultations will be referred to the appropriate professional staff of the relevant laboratory discipline.
Enquiries and consultations concerning haematological, cytogenetics and blood transfusion investigations should be made direct to the Department of Haematology Laboratory, Cytogenetics Laboratory and Blood Bank Laboratory, respectively.
