The ENT Specialist may interview you, examine the ears and carry out diagnostic procedures. Sometimes, an X-ray (CT scan) and/or an electromagnetic imaging (MRI ) of the ears may be required. Further assessments of the hearing nerve may also be done when necessary.
In some patients, hearing loss can be rectified by surgery and experienced surgical expertise is available for a wide range of surgical procedures.
