Training program and objectives:
- There will be basic training in general ultrasound with emphasis on abdominal imaging of the hepatobiliary and renal system.
- In addition, advanced training is available as follows:
- Small parts - thyroid (neck), breast, scrotum, groins for hernia.
- Doppler ultrasound eg. renal, carotids, lower limbs for DVTs.
- Musculoskeletal including joints (shoulder, ankle, wrist), superficial masses.
- US contrast imaging - mainly liver for characterization of focal hepatic nodules.
- Transplant US - liver, kidneys with colour Doppler imaging.

Admission Criteria
Minimum requirements for all Fellows :
- Postgraduate medical qualification in Radiology e.g. FRCR, MMed or equivalent
- 2 years of postgraduate training experience in relevant specialty
- Proven competency in English language (to fulfill Singapore Medical Council’s criteria for medical registration for clinical fellowship)

Sponsorship for Fellowship
Sponsorship from the Dept of Diagnostic Radiology is available. To apply, please indicate on the fellowship application form that funding is required. Upon successful application, each fellow will be awarded a stipend of S$2000 per month.
