SOME 500 needy residents in one- and two-room flats in the Queenstown, Henderson and Bukit Merah neighbourhoods received bags of groceries and household items worth over $50 each from Singapore General Hospital (SGH) doctors, staff and volunteers last Saturday.
It was part of SGH’s Community Outreach Day, which also saw a carnival being held.
