The SGH Lifestyle Enhancement & Fitness Improvement or LIFE Centre is a hospital-based centre for the promotion of integrated and holistic care for patients with lifestyle-related medical conditions, in particular patients with Eating disorders and Obesity. It is a unique one-stop medical facility that is first in Singapore with a multi-disciplinary team of Doctor, Dietitian, Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist and Medical Social Worker, who are specialised in healthy lifestyle practices, interventions and behavioural modifications.
The Centre provides quality, evidence-based treatment for lifestyle-related conditions and empower patients to maintain a healthy lifestyle. With the use of standardised assessment, interventions and outcome parameters, the Centre aims to be a leader in research for the prevention and management of lifestyle-related medical conditions.
