| The ASC provides an efficient one-stop facility aimed at providing maximum convenience and comfort to patients undergoing day surgery. At the ASC, no hospitalisation is required; rather, on the day of surgery, scheduled patients walk in for registration, prepared for surgery, operated on with minimal delay, and after a 2-3 hour recovery from the effects of anaesthesia and surgery, are discharged home, all on the same day.
The AC comprises a fully air-conditioned 21-bed ward and 6-operating theatre suite, with a comprehesive range of high technology, up-to-date surgical, anaesthetic and monitoring equipment. These allow for the safe and expeditious performance of a wide range of surgical operations performed under general or local anaesthesia. The ASC caters to the various surgical disciplines:
