Musculo-skeletal Tumour Clinic

This service is provided by a multi-disciplinary team of doctors consisting of Oncologists, Radiotherapists, Pathologists, Radiologists, and Orthopaedic Surgeons. Together, they provide a complete service for the management of malignant bone and soft tissue tumours including Diagnosis, Chemotherapy, Radiation Therapy, Surgical Resection and Reconstruction particularly in the fields of limb salvage, mega-prosthetic reconstruction and the use of microsurgical techiniques.

 

Degenerative Hip & Knee Arthritis Clinic

Hip and Knee Arthritis can be treated with excellent results. With the right treatment, patients can experience good pain relief and enjoy significant improvements in the ability to perform everyday activities.
With this in mind, the Singapore General Hospital Orthopaedic Department set up the Hip and Knee Degenerative Arthritis Clinic to provide the specialised care and treatment needed by these patients.

This clinic is run by the Adult Reconstruction service for patients with degenerative arthritis of the hip and knee joints.

 

Trauma Clinic

This clinic follows up patients with fractures seen at the Orthopaedic Clinic in the Accident and Emergency Department as well as discharged patients with fractures which have been operated on. It also accepts complex trauma and chronic conditions such as non-unions and malunions as well as delayed intra-articular fractures. The service also has excessive experience in minimally invasive surgery.

 

Spine Clinic

Spine disorders range from degenerative problems of the neck and back to tumours, deformities, neurological disorders and osteoporotic fractures in the elderly. The Spine Service offers comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and management of all these disorders, including pain management.
