Occupational Medicine provides specialist care to patients in the area of occupational medicine. In addition, the team of specialists also provides consultancy services to companies and partners in industry in the areas of occupational medicine practice, in worksite health risk assessment and planning of preventive strategies to avoid the occurrence of occupational diseases within its workforce. Occupational Medicine Clinic • Provide specific employment examinations for workers exposed to hazards or hazardous conditions at work • Provide work-related injury and illness treatment • Conduct all exams required by Workplace Safety & Health Act (WSHA) and OSHA
Ergonomics Clinic • Medical evaluation to identify specific groups of patients who would benefit from ergonomic manipulation to improve their work status. • Evaluation for vestibular training for those with fall tendencies or with non specific giddiness • Exercise testing and fitness to exercise evaluation where appropriate exercising will benefit and improve the ability to cope with their work and living environment
