The Outpatient Pharmacy occupies 2 levels and serves patients who are seen at the SGH Specialist Outpatient Clinics. Besides basic dispensing and counselling services, we also provide a Home Delivery Service.

This home delivery service offers convenience and eliminates waiting time at the pharmacy for patients who require refills for repeat prescriptions or long term maintenance medications. It is hassle-free, reliable and saves time.

SGH patients with valid prescriptions of at least 3 months duration are eligible for the service. The original prescription will be retained by Pharmacy upon registration. Patients will be counselled during the first supply; and subsequent supplies will be monitored by follow-up telephone calls.

Medication refills are scheduled based on the estimated consumption rate of the patients and delivered to patients' homes or offices.

The medication to be supplied cannot exceed the amount specified on the doctor's prescription. When the prescription is exhausted, a new prescription must be submitted to the pharmacy for subsequent supplies.

Each delivery (per patient, per location) will be charged at $8 (excluding GST). An additional charge of $6 (excluding GST) will be charged for re-sending of non-deliverable packages.

Please note:

1. Prescriptions are only valid for 1 year from the issue date.
2. Proof of identity is required when collecting medication. If you are collecting on behalf of a friend or relative, please bring along his NRIC.or appointment card.
3. Private prescriptions will not be entertained.
