The Clinical Dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy services for inpatients and outpatients. The services include:
- Assessment of Nutritional Status
- Nutritional Support
- For under-nourished patients or patients with specific conditions requiring hyperalimentation such as burns, cancer and trauma
- For patients on tube-feed and TPN
- Medical Nutritional Therapy
- Individual Counselling:
- diabetes
- weight management
- hyperlipidemia
- renal failure
- dialysis treatment
- post-organ transplants
- bone marrow transplant
- inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
- cancer
- gout
- eating disorders
- constipation
- dysphagia
- anaemia
- food allergy
- any other dietary modification.

- Group Counselling:
- Diabetes Group Education
- Weight Management
- Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme
- Eating Disorder Medical Nutrition Therapy Rehab Programme
- Antenatal Classes
Inpatients receive medical nutrition therapy at the ward level. |
