The Specialist Clinics at the Singapore General Hospital provide outpatient services for patients requiring specialist care. Every year, more than 500,000 patients are seen at our clinics. These patients have access to over 500 doctors from 28 specialty areas. Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals is committed to give each patient the best care.

As SGH emphasizes a multi-disciplinary approach to tertiary care, our treatment programmes are organised around a particular illness and therapeutic regime. We have developed a number of specialty centres and services which offer our patients one-stop, patient-centred programmes for their specific medical conditions.

Consultations at the Specialist Centres and Clinics are strictly by appointments. Before visiting our Outpatient Clinics, it is preferable that you consult your general practitioner or primary health physician to obtain a referral, in order to determine if you require treatment by a specialist.

The information in this section is specially prepared to familiarise you with our services in the various areas, including the Outpatient Clinics and Emergency Department. We hope that you will find this useful in your visits to SGH.
