The Rehabilitation Centre aims to provide the most effective rehabilitative and therapy services. It comprises 3 departments : Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy.
Occupational Therapy Department
The main thrust of the department’s activities is hand rehabilitation, burn and plastic reconstructive rehabilitation. Other rehabilitation programmes are offered in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery and paediatrics. The department also offers programmes in Podiatry, which is a specialisation concerned with the clinical diagnosis, treatment and management of the foot and lower limb.
Physiotherapy Department
The department provides inpatient and outpatient services to patients requiring physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Speech Therapy Department
The department is registered as the place of business for the Speech-Language Hearing Association (Singapore). The department’s specialties are :
