Specialist Outpatient

Specialist Outpatient Clinics, located at Block 3 Level 1 and Basement 1, provide consultation and treatment to the public and the hospital's discharged inpatients who require specialist care on an outpatient basis. It also comprises multi-disciplinary specialist outpatient services.

The basic functions pertaining to Specialist Outpatient Clinics are appointment making, registration, consultation, investigations, listing for admissions, payment and re-appointment. Other functions also include counselling and patient education.

The Specialist Outpatient Clinics are managed by a Manager, supported by a Senior Nursing Officer. Each clinic is managed by a Nursing Officer / Clinic Supervisor with a team of nurses, patient service assistants, healthcare assistants and health attendants.
