A six-year structured program, the Orthopaedics Residency Program at SingHealth is set to equip you with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required of an orthopedic surgeon upon the completion of your training.
Through an educational and supportive environment, we aim to develop you into a well-rounded orthopaedic surgeon capable of dealing with the multitude of problems that afflict the musculoskeletal system such as, among others, musculoskeletal trauma, congenital disorders, sports injuries or degenerative diseases. Your training includes clinical activities, didactic lectures, dedicated research time and regular weekly conferences. Supervision and guidance will be given from a team of senior mentors and experience faculty.
As a resident, you would function as an invaluable member of the healthcare team and participate in ward rounds, outpatient specialist clinics and surgeries.
