Infectious Disease
The Department of Infectious Disease offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient clinical services related to the care of patients with infectious diseases, as well as consultative care of patients with particularly difficult problems in the diagnosis, management and therapy of various infectious diseases.
The department also conducts a broad array of basic and clinical research activities in a variety of areas of microbiology, molecular biology, immunology and host defense.
